The Rose’s adopted their dogs from Young-Williams Animal Center and contacted me to ask about their baby photos(I had done the photos for their adoption) Of course I suggested bringing them in for some updated ones
Very fun photogenic dogs!

Very fun photogenic dogs!

The Fraziers brought their newest two in for photos, right before Christmas. This is awfully late of me getting this up, but, better late than never!

This was so much fun and really pretty funny too. Nothing like a 6month old dobe puppy, a 2 year old, a 3 year old and their older brother
There were so many great photos from this session, I have really restrained myself below. Watch the video, it has them all in there

The Kunkewitz’s brought in their cat Stubby for the Portraits with Hope fundraiser. This was one cool cat! He loved *olives*. It was hilarious! I have never seen a kitty eat olives before
We almost weren’t able to do the session due to the snow, but, we made it and even took Stubby outside for photos in the snow, how neat is that???

Well, the move and remodel is almost complete. Have to hand it to my husband, he did what it would take 4 men to do in the short amount of time he did it in! (<—-nice sentence structure) The gallery and entry areas are ready. I need more portraits on the walls, but, minor things… The paint is beautiful. Very Tuscan and warm. The carpets are cleaned. The shooting room had a wall taken down, and flooring replaced(yes, Larry did that all himself) He has figured out how to put the backdrop system up on a wall that has no supports. My paper rolls are hung and I am going to have two natural light shooting areas. The viewing room is almost done. Projector mounted, screen is up, table and chairs ready! Just have to hang(and buy more) portraits.
Metropulse did a very nice write up on Portraits with Hope You can check out the article here
Ed White, Volunteer of the year for The Hope Center and I were on STAR 102.1, HOT 104.5 and Q93…8am on WKTI AM talking about The Hope Center and the Portraits with Hope fundraiser. I will add the podcast as soon as I receive the CD!
Here are the remodel before and afters…

(ok, this is a in progress photo that shows the lack of wall and new floor)

Adding in Viewing room photos! Still need to finish one wall of portraits, but, it’ll get there

Outside at night

Day photo(not mine and no one had run into the wall yet. )

I rarely get a call where someone says “My dogs are perfect”. I really like those calls
True to her word, Roxie, Noel and Jazzy were perfect. Roxie was a little less thrilled about the whole thing and you could almost here her saying “Really? You want me to smile? Really.” Noel, who is blind(but you would never know it) might as well have been a supermodel. She vogued for the camera the whole time. Makes my job easy! Jazzy is just a redheaded bombshell with those long luxurious ears. How could she miss?
A bonus to the session, school was out so, Emily and Austin got to come too! A full family session. Now, don’t tell Dad about this, because this is his Valentine’s day gift!
