show-dogsI think everyone knows how much I LOVE to do advertising photos of show animals. It has its own special set of skills and trials. You must be able to capture the very best of the animal you are photographing. A photographer can take a stunning dog and make it look awful, if photographed at the wrong angles.

It can happen to any of us. When I say I have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, I mean it. I can make mistakes. I can have a bad day, the animal may be having a bad day. I want not only you to be satisfied, I want the subject to shine!

Isaac is a gorgeous young male whippet. His first shoot was sorta “meh” and we didn’t come up with much that any of us loved. So, I redid the shoot and now we have a bunch we all love!

My favorite specialty of the year! The Southern down in Atlanta. This one was a WET WET one! Atlanta had 100 year flood rainfalls. It was crazy. The dogs were still beautiful and we all still had a great time. Here are some highlights from the show

This was a whirlwind weekend that took me to Florida to photograph a few clients. Nothing neater than being flown somewhere, getting to catch up with friends AND to be able to get work done! Of course I was wiped out from such a rushed trip, but, it was certainly worth it!

If you look at my gallery on my website, you will see I added a dog show section to show a few of the photos I have been commissioned to do at shows. Also a few ads I have done for magazines.

I have been so crazy busy, out of town to Nashville for a photography workshop, I have neglected my blog and with Tonya MacRae who handles Pendi and Hannah. They are beautiful girls and we had a great time doing this. We even zipped over to the studio!

We did a mix of advertising style photos, fun stuff and traditional portraits.
