Toy dogs that is! Sophie the Cavalier king charles spaniel and Nick the Japanese chin and were they ever CUTE!!! Both bundles of personality and both so sweet they could melt.

Not as in age, but, as in a wonderful golden retriever named Buddy Dogs become such a great part of our families. Soft to pet and loyal no matter how bad the day. Kids learn empathy and unconditional love from our family dogs. I always enjoy photographing entire families.

Knoxville’s Top Dog is filling up!

That is going to be AWESOME! There are only 60 tickets and those can be purchased for the difference between the entry fee and the VIP pass when you come in for the contest. Hors d’oeuvres, Kimber Cleveland will be playing(heck this is worth the admission by itself!) You can meet the stars from the film too!! I’ll be there also!

In conjunction with Beyond The Myth Premier at the Bijou September 3rd at 8pm, we are doing a contest like no other!! There will be a Grand Prize for The “Top Dog” with a 16×20 canvas and a gourmet treat basket from River Dog Bakery There will also be prizes for the overall cutest, cutest rescue and ugliest dog. Those will receive 10×10 mounted art prints with easels and a gourmet treat bag from River Dog Bakery.

To top off the great prizes… With your entry of $25, you receive your session with me for entry photographs AND 2 tickets to the movie. Now, absolutely cannot miss the movie premier, why?? Because YOUR DOG will be shown on the silver screen at the Bijou!!! Winners will be announced then and you do not want to miss your dog being announced a winner!!! If you need extra tickets, you are welcome to purchase more. Bring all your friends and family to see! There is also an after party that tickets can be purchased to.

The contest is already half full and I have just announced it. When spots are filled, the contest is closed. There are no rain checks. Please schedule soon! I really hate to turn people away. Slots are 30 minute mini sessions and there is a limit of 2 dogs per household. Each entry(each dog) is $25 and receives 2 tickets. You will have a viewing session where you are welcome to purchase anything you like. No purchase required. No prints come with your entry.

Judging to be done by a top panel of judges! Preston Smith of Preston Smith Photography, a renowned cat photographer, Carien Schippers of Image Equine, a renowned equine photographer and Amy Coe of Inspire Portraits who is a top family and senior portrait artist. All three are tops in their fields and all three share a deep love of animals.

I don’t know why, but looking at these photos makes that song run through my head. How much more adorable can a little baby be? I am always so glad to have a family come in, especially with their new babies

Official Rules Per Cover Y’all Productions

1. 25.00 per entry
2. One dog per entry and each entry must be scheduled for an individual session (no group photos will be taken for contest)
3. Limit two entries per household (for example, if you have 4 dogs you can only enter two-we want as many people as possible entering plus it gives a household an unfair advantage of winning a prize the more entries they have)
4. All photos are property of Julie Poole Photography who gives Cover Y’all Productions the right to use the photos in promotion of the contest and related promotion of Beyond the Myth
5. Anyone entering may order and purchase prints from Julie Poole Photography
6. No prints will be given away except to the prize winners
7. Anyone entering agrees to give Julie Poole Photography and Cover Y’all Productions the right to use them for promotional purposes

Miller was one of the nicest, most wonderful dogs I have had the pleasure to photograph. This whole session went so smoothly and easily. If they were all like this, well, I just would feel like I wasn’t even working! Miller is a very special dog and so lucky to have the family he does. He has osteosarcoma, and is having his leg amputated to stop the spread of the cancer. His family has given him the most amazing care. I hope the surgery is a huge success!

Do you have items hanging around your house gathering dust? An older wooden chair that is kinda tattered and eclectic? how about a hassock or nice stool? A pretty cloth or leather style bench? Old buckets or planters? Chests or anything that you can dream up that might look good with a child, dog, cat or even adult!! Heck, go garage saling or check out the thrift stores!! I need new stuff and want to give you a session in exchange for your treasures!

This will be from my birthday, July 15th-18th. Spaces are limited and each session will be entirely unique! Never seen before stuff Schedule early to make sure you are in on it, anyone who schedules for the 15th gets to celebrate my birthday with me with cake! Who doesn’t like birthday cake??

are the repeat clients I find it so neat to see the changes in the family. I am so grateful I have had a lot of repeat clients lately. The livingstons had their son photographed with their dogs back in 2006. Boys grow a whole lot in 4 years!!

The largest compliment I receive is “I want them all” and “How can I choose?” I am proud to say it happens fairly often. Victor has a beautiful family that was a joy to photograph. Both girls are gorgeous and both have as wonderful of personalities. Its always a little shocking how easy things can be when there are only people
